The rest of the cruise

I was thinking I might give up on finishing our cruise posts, but then I guess I should try to get done, so we can actually move on to other things. As you know from Julia's post, their family was dog sitting for us during our mini family vacation to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens, week before last. We were trying to get some family time in before the kids go back to school. Williamsburg was very interesting. At Busch Gardens, everyone rode the roller coasters, except Blake. We went to a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater one night. It was called 'Death by Disco', but don't worry, it turns out there was no actual murder. The victim was just knocked out for awhile, after falling from his platform shoes during the disco dance contest. Also, Dayne, Blake & Karen went on a Ghost Tour of Williamsburg one evening to listen to some interesting folklore and historical tidbits. And now....back to the cruise, to hopefully finish up. If you remember, we were still in Boston when we left off.
An odd building on the MIT campus
Paul Revere's house
The Old North Church

Inside The Old North Church...and the steps they climbed to hang the infamous lanterns...

On the opposite shore walked Paul Revere.
Now he patted his horse's side,
Now he gazed at the landscape far and near,
Then, impetuous, stamped the earth,
And turned and tightened his saddle girth;
But mostly he watched with eager search
The belfry tower of the Old North Church,
As it rose above the graves on the hill,
Lonely and spectral and sombre and still.
And lo! as he looks, on the belfry's height
A glimmer, and then a gleam of light!
He springs to the saddle, the bridle he turns,
But lingers and gazes, till full on his sight
A second lamp in the belfry burns.

More Boston
And now for some ship shots...
Everything from rock climbing, a full basketball
court, inline skating, mini-golf (yes Dad!), even an ice skating rink
Urbane ready for a night out for our 25th anniversary on the cruise.
(Or maybe he was just celebrating the season tickets I gave him for Ravens games this year.)Our dinner table companions...
They were great, even the Steeler's fan. Our entire towel zoo
(a bat, lobster, dog, alligator, snake,
elephant, monkey, and the swans)
Our stateroom attendant was so sweet and had them all
arranged on the bed for us when we came back
from dinner the final night on the cruise.
He said they normally didn't let guests collect the
towels the whole cruise, but he made an exception
because he noticed we were even making paper glasses
for the animals when we ran out of sunglasses and my other glasses.
